"I Have Got to Get Me One of These!"**
Those were some of the first words in my head after finishing my mountain bike excursion yesterday (on my niece's bike - that's why I need to get one). This was only my second time doing it (the first being one year ago), and I loved it again. Even though - once again - I ended up pushing my bike up a lot of the time. But the downhill ride... so very much worth it!
reaching the top
definitely worthy of a victory lap
I could really get into this. I just need to do it more frequently than yearly...
**one million points if you can name that movie
heading out
don't worry - I wasn't about to fall - I was just riding off the driveway
some of the scenery on the way up:
Draper temple

reaching the top
definitely worthy of a victory lap
some of the scenery on the way down:
waterfall

there were a few spots along the way (up and down) where you could see all three temples in the area

Simplifying
I've decided to copy my sister (remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :) and only list private blogs, using google reader to keep up with all the other blogs. So, if your blog disappeared from my sidebar, don't worry. I'm still watching you... (:
Sometimes I Question My Sanity
I'm thinking about doing this.
I think I'm going to.
I have 7 weeks to train.
Not enough to really train properly, but enough to get ready enough that I'm not just suffering through the whole thing.
And this would help me with the thought I had of doing one a year.
The thing is - I would sign up for the half and call it good - except it's full.
It looks like it'd be a pretty run.
