Day 11 - New Recipes

Holiday Nog

What You Need:
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, split and scraped, or 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 3 cups water
What You Do:
  • In a blender, place all ingredients. Blend until smooth and serve.

I got this from a friend's blog earlier this week. Tried it out last night and discovered it's not as weird as I would have thought. And for a much healthier alternative to egg nog, it's not bad.
