It Smells Like Lilacs

My window is wide open, my fan is on, and with the breeze outside I get occasional whiffs of flowers. I think they're lilacs. Whatever they are, they smell beautiful.

I'm dealing with my second summer (spring? / faux spring?) cold in as many weeks.

Not fun.

This one comes accompanied by an aching throat.

Just lovely.

I Smell Spring

For the first time this year I smelled freshly mowed grass.
I love the smell of freshly mowed grass.

Right now I'm hearing the birds chirp outside my window.
I wish I could have them as background noise all the time.
I don't think I'd ever get sick of their pleasing little chirps.
