I'm done. I finished. I survived.
I'm sore.
For a first marathon, it was good.
I finished in barely under 7 hours. 6:59:44. I was hoping to finish in less than six, but considering that I wasn't able to run for the last two months because of injuries, I'm feeling pretty good about it.
More of an update and a few stories to come. I just wanted to check in to let you know I'm alive!

And sore.
Very, very sore.
With blisters on both feet.
But yes, I'm already thinking that I would do it again.
And maybe I actually will.
... eventually.

glad you're done and alive! congratulations!
Good for you! I'm feeling inspired to go running today. That does not guarantee that I will actually go.
Go, You! That is sooooo cool.
Congrats! I heard a funny joke about the LA marathon from Jay Leno. He said that people were being slowed down because they had to change gang colors everytime they went through a different neighborhood...yikes! Glad that you survived and good luck with the blisters.
Girl! Way to go. Happy healing. ;)
Awesome! I'm so glad to hear you'd do it again -- I think you should! You're awesome!!!! (and sore)
Congratulations!! What an amazing accomplishment!
Way to go, Eden!!!! I'm SO impressed and proud of you! Sorry you're sore...sometimes the right sized niece or nephew stepping on your back will help with some soreness...just a thought! :)
Oh my gosh, Eden! You amaze me. Remember that 5k we ran a few years ago? Yeah, I still wear that t-shirt and feel pretty good about my accomplishment... I can't imagine doing what you just did. Congrats! Hope you feel back to normal soon.
Good for you! I'm always discouraged from running a marathon since according to legend the first guy who ran one died immediately after yelling "Nike".
