Tulips From the Half

When you sign up to run a race on April 30th, you don't plan to run in snow. At least I didn't.

But then I did.

Run in snow, that is.

Luckily it didn't stick to the roads and trails we were running on, but the few bridges we had to cross were pretty slippery.

Two days before the race I went to the tulip festival with some family. While still pretty even when snow-covered, I'm glad I got to see the pretty tulips when they weren't dusted with snow.

Good for you for being a runner. I would love to be a runner and at times have considered myself just that. Not now.

Good for you!

Were you able to run farther in the cold? It seems to help me.

yeah harps, it probably would have killed me if it hadn't been a freak winter-type day.
